What ages are the camps for?
Our Multi-Sport camps are currently designed for children 18 months to 6 years old.
Our Nature + Creative camps are for children ages 3–6.
*we plan to add camps for older kids or afternoons in the future if there is interest!
Do parents stay for class?
Parents or caregivers must stay nearby for our youngest athletes. For the 3-6 year olds, drop off is just fine but feel welcome to stay nearby while they learn and play.
What should my child bring?
Water bottle
Comfortable clothes for movement
Outdoor layers for nature time (weather depending)
What if my child has never played sports before?
That’s perfectly okay! These camps are designed for beginners. We focus on fun, movement, and learning basic skills in a positive and encouraging environment. Kids can join whenever they feel comfortable. No rush!

Where are the camps held?
Multi-sport classes take place in a Sam Alston’s local gym space —107 East 3 Ave S, Magrath (west door)
Nature Camp is at Bry’s house/backyard in Magrath — 184 W 3 Ave S, Magrath. We will spend some time in the backyard each class and will occasionally walk to the fishpond depending on the activity and weather. We will also spend time crafting, creating, and experimenting indoors each class too.

What if my child has A lot of energy?
Perfect — that’s exactly what these camps are for! Our activities are designed to help kids move their bodies, try new things, and have fun in a positive environment.
To note: if they are purposefully harming others or having troubles listening, we will gently redirect and work gently to help them participate safely. If challenging behavior continues, we may ask a parent or caregiver to step in and help support their child so that the class remains safe and fun for everyone. :)
Can my child join a camp if it has already started?
Yes! Our camps at SUNNY are prorated and we divvy up the fees per class. If the camp isn’t full, we will have space so text me (Bry) at 403-393-9041 and we will see if we can get you in!
What if my child doesn’t participate?
There is no pressure to get your child involved in play until they are comfortable. I would suggest staying right by them until they are ready to play independently and I will do my best to make the classes fun and different styles of play! If a child is not enjoying the camp all together, we can issue a refund after 3 classes and try again later!
is there a sibling discount?
Yes! SUNNY is all about the team! Sign your child up for a camp and your next camp will get a SIBLING DISCOUNT of 15% off automatically applied at checkout.
